Why buy a Dunable?
Why Buy a Dunable?
In case you find yourself wondering what makes our guitars so great, give this a read. Our goal is to not only create the highest quality instrument you’ve ever played, but to create one that you wouldn’t be afraid to play out for one gig or a year-long worldwide tour. Or if your dog walks by and accidentally knocks it over. A Dunable guitar is built to stand up to your abuse (within reason, you maniacs…), both inside and outside, while feeling and playing amazingly.
Hand Selected, Superior-Quality Tonewoods
We get our wood from some of the best suppliers in the city and country, and we don’t use anything that won’t produce a beautiful sound, feel, and look.
Neck/Headstock Reinforcement Volute
You know how some guitars seem more prone to having the headstock break? Like on a plane ride, or if you drop it accidentally, or whatever? That is about 99% less likely to happen with a volute, because it thickens up the area and makes it much harder to snap in two.
Highest Quality Electronic Components
Having a high quality pickup means nothing if your other electronic components are cheap and unreliable. We only use American made Switchcraft jacks and switches, top-quality CTS brand potentiometers, orange drop capacitors, and ultra-durable vintage style pushback wire. While we could save a few bucks by giving you some cheap, overseas-made components, we’d rather you be able to abuse your guitar for years and years without having any of these parts fail, which can happen much easier with the cheap stuff.
Meticulous Fretwork And Setup
Ever play that one guitar that just seems to play itself? No buzz, low action, and sustain for days? That’s what you get here. Unlike larger factories that have a quota of guitars to send out every day, we don’t let a guitar leave unless it plays so well we almost don’t want to sell it anymore.
Dunlop Strings and Strap Locks
Again, there are many great options out there, but we feel that it really doesn’t get any better than Dunlop products such as strings, strap locks, and picks.
