A descendent of the Grizzly pickup, with double slug bobbins to tame the potentially shrill attack, with a Alnico V magnet replacing the Alnico IV, for a slightly more midrange-forward, yet high headroom dynamic response. The Cave Bear has tons of string clarity while pushing the front end of an amp, or retaining control when using fuzz and dirt pedals. Great for wide open classic rock tones, or high gain with some extra string clarity.
